Hetaerina miniata (Red-striped Rubyspot)

The tricky rubyspots again. Identification of these can centre around whether there are red spots at the the wing tips, either all four or just the hind wings, and whether there are pterostigmas present or not. From photographs, particularly distant ones, some of these features may not be clear.

I got this female (quite close) correct – one of the few female specimens that I captured – but messed up the male (quite distant) but fortunately iNaturalist put me right.
